1- Sign Criteria for the plaza, mall or shopping center
This document can be obtained from your landlord or management company, it contains the rules and regulations for the type of signs allowed in your storefront, it is very important for you to have this document prior to request a sign quote, NO ONE can give you an accurate quote with out knowing what are the sign type (s) and dimensions permitted for your store. Without a Sign Criteria document neither you or the sign company knows what to quote, that is why is very important that you obtain this ahead of time.
2- CSP, Comprehensive Sign Plan
Some plazas, malls and shopping centers have a CSP established, this document is used by the city authorities to compare your sign design to the rules set for your store, including type styles, size, colors, materials etc…
